Flat bars give you a low, aggressive riding position ideal for speed and control, while riser bars lift your posture for comfort and visibility. Touring or loop bars are great for long-distance adventures, as they offer multiple hand positions so you can switch it up when fatigue sets in.
Another consideration is width. Wider bars give you more control off-road, while narrower options are better for tight urban spaces. And don’t forget your clamp size — most bars are 31.8mm, but double-check that it matches your stem just to be safe!

How often should I get my bike serviced?
After purchasing a new bike we recommend a service after 3 months because of initial wear.
Following this you should service your bike once every 6 months for a heavily ridden bike to once every 12 months for more infrequent use.
