100% Waterproof and more!
While we use high quality waterproof fabric such as the X-Pac X11 to make this bag, we designed it with an internal waterproof liner as well. The X-Pac fabric is waterproof on its own but water can sometime go thru the seams that are difficult to seal completely.
We could have stopped there but we chose to go a step further and line the inside of the pannier with a waterproof liner which all the seams have been taped to ensure the pannier is 100% waterproof.
The outside fabric (X-Pac or Cordura) will protect the liner from daily abuse. You might scratch or even tear a hole in the outside fabric, chances are the waterproof liner will remain intact.

The Burrito is equipped with 3 attachment straps to hold it firmly to the handlebar.
Another advantage of this system is the facility of the installation, it takes no time and no tools required.
New Eco-Friendly Fabric
The bag is offered in sustainable X-Pac X11 and RX 30 materials to reduce its environmental footprint.
X11 is a lightweight waterproof fabric made of sustainably grown cotton. Its face provides a soft feel and appearance.
It is made of 3 layers:
- Natural Cotton face with Durable Water Repellent (DWR);
- Post-consumer recycled polyester reinforcement;
- Waterproof polyester film backing.
RX30 is waterproof, carbon-neutral fabric made of 100 % recycled post-consumer polyester.
It is made of 3 layers:
- 300 denier 100% recycled polyester face with Durable Water Repellent (DWR);
- Post-consumer recycled polyester reinforcement;
- Waterproof polyester film.
In summary, the main differences are their weight, feel and abrasion resistance. X11 is lighter and has a soft feel, while RX30 is heavier but more abrasion-resistant.
We still offer the Cordura 1000D fabric since it is the longest-lasting material on the market.
If you wish to pass this bag to your grandchildren, choose Cordura!
