Pre-Owned & Demo Bikes

Yes. Every pre-owned and demo bike we sell comes with a minimum 3 month warranty, and it covers the battery and the motor, not just the frame and the bolt-on parts. Some bikes carry a longer warranty, and where they do it is stated clearly on that bike's listing.
The warranty is honoured by us, in our Ascot Vale store. You are not chasing a manufacturer overseas or posting a bike back to a warehouse. You bring it to the same workshop that prepared it.

Yes. The battery and the motor are both covered by the minimum 3 month warranty.
We cover it because we are confident in it. Every bike on this page has been charged and maintained by us, or by a customer we sold it to and serviced for. We are not guessing.

Two places, and only two. They are either our own demo and floor bikes, or they are bikes we originally sold new and took back in trade from the customer we sold them to.
We do not buy in used stock from auctions, online listings or unknown sellers, and we do not take grey imports. That means every bike on this page has spent its whole life in our workshop, and we have its service history because we are the ones who serviced it.

A demo bike is one of ours. It has been ridden on our floor, at demo days, or by customers taking a test ride, but it has never been sold to anyone.
A pre-owned bike has had one owner: the customer we sold it to new, who has since traded it back in.
Both have been ridden, both are inspected and serviced before sale, and both carry the same minimum 3 month warranty. Each listing tells you which one you are looking at, along with its condition and how much use it has had.

Every bike goes through our workshop before it is listed. It is inspected, serviced and safety checked. Anything worn or due for replacement gets replaced.
The standard we hold is simple: if we would not be happy putting our own name on it, or riding it ourselves, it does not go on the floor and it does not go on the site.
Condition, wear and use are described honestly on each listing, along with photos of the actual bike rather than a stock image.

Yes, and we would rather you did. Just get in touch first so we can have it ready for you.
These are one-off bikes, so they are not always sitting on the showroom floor. Some are in our storage area. Give us a call or send us a message before you come in, tell us which bike you are interested in, and we will make sure it is out and waiting when you
get here.

For e-bikes, you can test ride the bike before you decide.
E-motos are different, and the reason is the law rather than us. Electric motorbikes are not road legal in Victoria, so nobody can ride one from the shop. You are welcome to come in and go over it properly, sit on it, and ask us whatever you need to know.

If you want to ride that model before you commit, ask us whether we have one in our demo fleet. Where we do, our Electric Dirt Bike Demo Days at CityMX in Laverton are a private facility set up for exactly that. It would be a fleet bike rather than the one you
are buying, but it will tell you how the model rides.

Either way, a used bike is a bike with a history. Come and ask us anything you want about it.

On trade-ins, we help our own customers upgrade. If you bought your bike from us and you are looking at something newer, come and talk to us and we will see what we can do for you.
We are not a general used bike buyer, so it does need to be a bike we sold, from a brand we stock. That is how we can be confident in everything on this page.
