Bafang Parts

They're all Bafang mid-drive motors, but they're built for different applications. The BBS01B is a 250W motor suited to lighter builds and road-legal commuter conversions. The BBS02B steps up to 500W and suits riders who want more power on hills or heavier bikes. The BBSHD is the heavy hitter, 1000W, built for off-road and high-demand builds. The parts in this collection are labelled to their compatible motor, so always check before ordering.

Start with the motor kit itself (BBS02B or BBSHD depending on your frame and power goals), then work out what extras you need: chain ring size, crank arms, display, throttle, and speed sensor.

We no longer install new Bafang mid-drive kits - our preferred e-bike conversion system is now CYC Motor, which we stock and install in-house at our Ascot Vale workshop.

That said, if you've already got a Bafang build - whether we did the conversion or not - we're happy to help with servicing, repairs, and troubleshooting. We still stock a wide range of Bafang parts and accessories too.
