Speedbox 1.1 For Shimano Ep8

Basic tuning kit for your e-bike with Shimano motor.

SpeedBox 1.1 enables to double the speed limit of an e-bike from the original 25 km/h to 50 km/h. When in use, the actual speed will appear on your display up to 22 km/h. Then the speed indicator gets stabilized and keeps on showing the same value even at higher speeds.

The motor?s electric assistance switches off when reaching 50 km/h.

How does SpeedBox 1.1 work?

If you don?t have lights on your bike, SpeedBox 1.1 for Shimano will be constantly activated. If the lights are assembled on your bike, you will be able to turn on the tuning chip whenever needed. SpeedBox 1.1 tuning kit will be activated on your bike?s control panel. If the lights are turned off, you can reach the speed of 50 km/h. The chip can be easily deactivated by turning on the lights.

Assembly

When connecting the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are planning to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 1 km before the chip is activated.
