The Scene VLT is an ultra-versatile, relaxed electric hybrid bike that allows riders of all sorts to get around easily and replaces the need for a car in the city.
Built for comfort the Scene VLT is a modern take on an upright, casual bike but with the latest wheel technology and frame dimensions. The lightweight step-through frame allows you to easily get on and off your bike. Plus, the Scene’s integrated push-button seat dropper allows you to instantly lower the seat so that you can comfortably put your feet on the ground when you need to stop, then press a button and the seat will rise again and you're good to go - a very helpful feature at the traffic lights.
The internal cable routing gives this bike a clean look and the seat post mounted Shimano STePS E8010 504Wh is paired with the Shimano E6100 Drive Unit for easy and efficient power. The Scene VLT is a pedal assist e-bike which means that when you pedal the drive unit will boost your speed up to 25km/h – great for getting you there faster or helping you out when you’re tired.
You'll also be able to control all of that e-bike power with ease thanks to the e-bike rated Tektro HY-M275 Hydraulic Disc Brakes which give you excellent all-weather control which is handy if you ever get caught out in the rain. The large volume 27.5" tyres will give you a smooth ride with plenty of traction that won't compromise speed.
Light & Clean Frame: The Scene VLT's stylish aluminium frame features tidy internal cable routing and a custom-engineered seat tube battery mount for a clean design, easy mounts and dismounts, and confident, laid-back performance.
So Casual: The Scene VLT is designed to handle just like the pedal Scene – Comfortably Casual. It rides easy, and gives the rider a subtle sense of confidence with an electric boost.
Easy To Adjust Height: If you’ve ever felt uneasy at a stop light, you know how much easier it would be if you could get your seat out of the way to put your feet on the ground. The Scene VLT allows you to instantly lower its seat with the push of a button and get it right back up again once you’re back up riding. Cool, right?! It’s also great for when someone else wants to use your bike!
