I researched the lock as extensively as the scooter itself. I settled on the Hiplok Switch as it has a bronze rating, is compact, has a great strength to weight ratio and includes two mounting solutions. First is the bracket mounted to the scooter and the second option clips onto my belt, the best of both Worlds. I have a Hiplok Z-Lok cable tie lock for my helmet and pack and like and trust the Hiplok brand.
