I wanted a light weight sturdy Crate for my e-bike, I actually brought a metal carrier, but it's rather heavy, and e-bikes are heavy enough without adding more weight.
I’d seen the Basil Crate online but didn’t know anyone who had one, but found a couple of folks who had them and loved them.
So I got online and found one at Melbourne Powered, and not realising I had in fact ordered the wrong basket, I received an email from Melbourne Powered, asking me if I had ordered the right basket, as it has to have a special plate on the bottom to fit the MIK System.
I realised I had ordered the wrong Crate so I rang them, and they were sooooo helpful, they said they wanted to make sure I had the right one before they sent it to me…. Most impressed that they reached out to me before sending the order.
Fixed the Order over the phone with them, and I had it within 2-3 days, and I LOVE it! It actually locks onto the rack and has a key…. The fitting is very very strong, and the Crate is just the right size for what I want, I believe there are 3 sizes you can choose from.
I would happily buy from Melbourne Powered again, a very nice experience, and the fact that they thought I may have ordered the wrong Crate sealed the deal for me.
