The Review: The Breakdown

Performance & Specifications

The Surron Hyper Bee is equipped with a 50.4V 25Ah lithium battery pack, providing up to 50 km of range at 40 km/h. Weighing just 38 kg, this bike is incredibly lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it perfect for both kids and adults who want an agile ride.

Head-to-Head Racing

To test its power, we raced the Hyper Bee against the Surron X, Talaria Sting, and Ultra B. While it’s smaller than its competitors, it still packs a punch with an impressive top speed of 63 km/h. It’s quick off the line, and its instant torque gives it a thrilling edge on the track.

Handling & Ride Experience

Taking it to the BMX track, the Hyper Bee felt incredibly nimble and responsive. Despite being marketed as a kid’s bike, it handled jumps and turns with ease, feeling almost effortless to throw around. The lightweight frame and powerful torque make it an ideal option for skate parks, where its compact size allows it to soar over obstacles.

Off-Road Performance

I also took the Hyper Bee through a motocross track and a sandy pit bike trail. The bike’s three power modes make it great for beginners and experienced riders alike, adapting to different terrains with ease. It even excelled at hill climbs, eating up steep inclines with no problem.
Innovative Features
This bike comes loaded with some high-tech features, including:
  • Magnetic snap-on charger for easy recharging.
  • Slide-out battery with no cables for quick swaps.
  • A horn that doubles as a speaker.
  • A remote control that allows you to adjust speed modes and communicate with the bike.
  • A built-in safety kill switch that disconnects power if you fall off.

Comfort & Drawbacks

Despite its small size, the Hyper Bee is comfortable even for taller riders. The only real downside? The small seat can get a bit uncomfortable after long rides. Additionally, the LCD display menu could be more intuitive, but once you get used to it, it’s easy to navigate.

Our final Thoughts: Should you buy it?

The 2025 Surron Hyper Bee is an incredibly fun and capable mini electric dirt bike. Whether you’re a kid learning to ride or an adult looking for a compact but powerful off-road machine, this bike delivers on all fronts. Its innovative features and surprising torque make it a standout in the e-moto world.
