The XDS Ladies’ E-Cruz takes the effort out of commuting when you most need the support. With a Pedal Assist System (PAS) enabled Bafang Mid-Drive motor, your ride to work is made simple. Your pedalling is amplified by the motor, powering you along for a fraction of the effort. Arrive at your destination still as fresh and ready to go as when you left home on the E-Cruz.

Fine tune your riding difficulty from 0-5 levels of power output with the simple to use Bafang LCD display Engaging with the Bafang Mid-Drive PAS Max-01 electric motor amplifies your own pedalling power up to speeds of 25km/h. The ingenuity of the Mid-Drive motor is that it seamlessly integrates with the drivetrain for increased control over speed and resistance. Paired with the E-Cruz’s 8-Speed Shimano Acera Drivetrain, your 5 levels of pedal assist afford you an efficient and effortless gearing and power ratio for any level of incline. With a 36V Lithium Ion Panasonic battery, you’ll be pedalling assisted for up to 75km. The clever GearSensor reduces your risk of damaging the drivetrain by briefly cutting off your motor every time you shift gears.

With the added power and speeds of the electric motor, you can feel confident that safety is still a priority with the superior hydraulic disc braking system. Hydraulic brakes offer the utmost control and finesse in slowing and stopping, with a minimum of effort. Even greater control over your E-Cruz is the result of a lightweight alloy frame, and with a low step through frame, mounting and dismounting in any outfit is simple and safe.

Gear Shift Sensor

When shifting gears, riders should reduce torque through the drivetrain for a smoother transition. Typically, electric bikes emit torque five times higher than riders are capable of producing on their own, so regularly shifting gears at high speeds can be damaging to your drivetrain. The Gear Sensor briefly cuts out the motor when changing gears to provide a more secure and prolong the life of your drivetrain.
