Born on the streets of Barcelona, the Katu is refreshing take on urban utility cycling from long-standing Spanish bicycle company, Orbea. Every feature and component included with the Katu makes it a versatile city bike perfect for commu ting, carrying shopping in the front. This e-bike is also compatible with a range of frame mounted rear child seats.
Practicality, style, environmental friendliness, and urban coexistence are the main pillars of the Orbea Katu E-30. Starting with a strong, low-step, one size fits all aluminum frame, the 20″ wheels offer nimble handling and quick acceleration. The small wheels create space for a spacious frame mount basket.
Weight in the basket is carried on the frame, rather than rotating with the fork, so heavy loads don’t impact the bike’s handling, and the wide, double-legged centre-stand keeps the Katu stable when it’s parked.
The electric bicycle comes with a double leg kickstand. a great spec list of Bosch mid drive motor, Shimano 8 speed internal hub, Shimano Hydraulic Disc brakes, and integrated lights.
