NORCO SIGHT VLT A1 (29) 2020

The Norco Sight VLT A1 29 is an electric all-mountain full suspension bike that builds upon the legacy of the 2019 model which was named 2019 e-MTB of the year. The highlight of the Sight VLT is Norco’s Ride Aligned™ Design System that gives you the same performance and handling as the regular Norco Sight. This feeling really comes through when you ride this bike as it doesn’t feel like an e-bike, it is snappy in responsive in a way that allows you to perform at your best and ride like a pro, just with some electronic assistance as you climb. The re-engineered geometry is built to hit corners at top speed and send it like a true mountain bike should. The aluminium frame offers similar stiffness and performance characteristics as the high-end carbon model, just with a little extra weight. Pair that with the RockShox Yari RC Fork with 160mm travel and the RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ Rear Shock and you have an incredibly capable e-mtb, ready for any terrain.

Just because you get an authentic riding experience it doesn’t mean this e-bike isn’t packed full of power. Norco optimised the Shimano STePS E8000 drive unit and in-tube battery so that you get plenty of torque and an efficient ride, with the option to increase range by up to 70% with the range extender (sold separately). The E-MTB specific components are what gives this bike its character and flair, loaded with e-bike rated freehub mechanisms and dynamic DT Swiss Alpine spokes for strength and durability.

The Sight VLT rolls on 29 inch Maxxis Minion DH tyres for excellent descending capabilities and all-round versatility. This bike has increased tyre clearance which allows for a steeper seat tube and longer travel. Norco really wants you to ride with freedom and the 34.9mm post and lower top tube gives you a lot more room to move while you’re descending. All of this power, versatility and easy speed means you’ll need equally brilliant braking power to match, and the Shimano MT520 4 piston Hydraulic Disc brakes give you incredible stopping power so you really can shred. The Norco Sight VLT 29 is the next progression of the e-mtb that delivers on every front, ride fast, long and aggressive without the huff and puff.
